Transformation is our goal: to create a new and exciting environment out of existing space. Design is our passion: we value and enjoy the relationships built with each and every client. We believe good listening skills are of great importance; project management and decision making are key, as well. Our record bespeaks original, innovative work executed according to the highest standards. As professionals, we appreciate existing furnishings of importance to the client and will work to successfully incorporate them into the design plan.
Jackie Mitchell

A graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD) in Providence, Rhode Island, Ms. Mitchell established her own interior design firm in 1987. Over the years, she has created an extensive network with some of the finest showrooms and artisans in the Northeast, providing clients with unexpected and fresh ideas for their projects. "Working with clients to create timeless, not trendy, designs is preferred," says the designer.
Services
Mitchell Interiors provides full service interior design and decoration in close collaboration with architects and contractors. Our clients can always expect white glove delivery.

SPACE PLANNING
As professionals, we possess a strong understanding of space planning, as well as a unique talent for color, shape and balance.

RENOVATION
Design and management of all individual spaces, including kitchens and bathrooms.

COMPLETE DESIGN CONSIDERATIONS
Color selection, fabric selection, furnishings, flooring, rugs/carpeting, custom window treatments, art, wall hangings, unusual accessories.

REAL ESTATE STAGING
Our goal is to have each property sell quickly, and at the highest price possible. Staging may include decluttering and painting, as well as updating, repurposing and/or replacing existing furnishings.

OVERSEAS PROJECTS
We oversee all aspects of delivery to international locations by coordinating packing, transport, and unpacking of containers from the US. All customs regulations are followed, ensuring smooth transport of your furnishings.
Projects
Our projects have encompassed a broad range, including executive offices and private homes in Boston, Connecticut, Philadelphia, and Bermuda. We have enjoyed working with clients on their second homes in the US as well as abroad. Mitchell Interiors has enjoyed the privilege of working in very elaborate homes, yet we are just as comfortable and enthusiastic collaborating with a client on a moderate budget. We work with great care to create a beautiful, as well as interesting, end result.
